STEW ROSS

Stew is the founding Director of the Center for Excellence in Teaching and Learning at Minnesota State University (MSU) where he works with nearly 600 professors to improve teaching. He is also a member of a consulting company in higher education; presenting over 50 workshops on course design in just the past three years to faculty in 20 states throughout America. Previously, he was Director of Bands at MSU for 25 years. Stew has written two books, 46 articles for World Book, Inc. and over 40 articles for various publications.

Stew is also a diversity facilitator for the Mankato Diversity Council and serves as the Kids Against Hunger project chair. He also serves as the MN-DAK director for new club building and membership growth and continues to serve as the secretary of the Mankato Downtown Club. Stew is currently the president of the MSU Kiwanis Club and serves KI as the chair of the Diversity Committee.

Stew & Liz Ross

STEW'S FAMILY

Stew joined Kiwanis in 1989 and Liz in 1998. Liz served as a distinguished president of the Mankato Downtown Club in 2005-2006 and is currently the president of the Mankato Diversity Club. She also served from 2005-2007 as the MN-DAK District chair for the KI Foundation. She was honored with a Hixon and Tablet of Honor. Stew and Liz have been married for 27 years and have a son, David, age 24 and daughter, Judith, age 22.
