"We need Stewart as our Trustee. Why?
In 2005, the MN-DAK Leadership Team came up with a goal to end the 2005-2006 year at a net membership growth of at least + 1. This goal was a huge stretch knowing that we had not had a plus growth membership gain since 1991-1992 (15 years prior).
Our Governor that year was Stewart Ross, through his tireless efforts led his 2005-6 Leadership Team to not only achieve that goal, but ended the past 2006 year at a net gain of + 226 members for our District!
Stewart is charismatic, dedicated and has a true Kiwanis heart. He has given more to this organization than anyone I have ever seen. His motivation to run for trustee is sincere and simple. He wants Kiwanis to be around for his children, grandchildren and for generations to follow. Children today need us now more than ever. We need more Kiwanians, and we especially need more people like Stewart who has a proven track record of growing membership and starting new clubs. Stewart is a Kiwanis hero in my book.
